Over the years, we have set up various sub-committees
to better cater to the needs of our community. These sub-committees
are :
- Family Learning Group Sub-committee
- Arcadia Children's Club Sub-committee
- Sports Sub-committee (including a Soccer Team)
- Estate Improvement / Security Sub-committee
- Welfare Sub-committee
- Education Sub-committee
- Publication Sub-committee
We welcome any comments or suggestions from
you on how to improve our estate in any aspect. Our RC suggestion
box is located just outside our Arcadia RC centre.
Continuous effort is being put into providing programmes/courses
for our residents of all ages. Jeffenie Playgroup is available
for children aged 3 - 6 years old. This playgroup provides
a safe, interactive and enriching environment to nurture our
children catering both to their interests and educational
needs.
We also offer English/Math tuition classes (Pri 1 - 6) and
Chinese tuition classes (Pri 3 - 6).
Tai Chi sessions are held every Monday and Thursday from 8
– 9.30 pm at the HardCourt/(or Sepak Takraw Court) for
residents to gather for mind-body relaxation exercises.
A ‘Family Learning Corner' will soon be available
in our RC centre. This is to provide a venue for our residents
of all ages for a get-together and enjoyment. Table tennis,
computer game stations, karaoke, music, TV, reading, indoor
board games and basic health monitoring machines are some
of the planned items in the pipeline for this corner.
To help make the ‘Family Learning Corner' a success,
we welcome residents to come forward to volunteer their services
in the various areas you might take interest in. We also welcome
any feedback to improve our Family Learning Corner!
